tl;dr

We have released a quick start package, there will be a substantial OpenChain Project presence at the Open Source Summit Europe in Prague and the forthcoming Open Compliance Summit in Yokohama, we have seen continued donations of reference material to the OpenChain Curriculum, and there have been more releases of official OpenChain Specification translations.

OpenChain Releases Quick Start Package

We have released a quick start package consisting of a brief infographic, a one page overview of the project, a detailed two-pager and a slide deck. This package is intended to help project leaders, business decision-makers and legal teams easily understand the purpose and value proposition of the OpenChain Specification, Conformance and Curriculum:

OpenChain @ Events

The OpenChain Project will hold an Open Session at Open Source Summit Europe in Prague from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday the 24th of October. This event will take place in the Roma room and is open to all interested parties. It will be an interactive session to discuss the OpenChain Specification, Conformance, Curriculum and Onboarding. Participants are asked to RSVP the Project Director to confirm their attendance:

New Material Donations

We have received public domain donations of onboarding material and a reference guide to including open source license information from Moorcrofts and Commons Conservancy respectively.

OpenChain Internationalization

The OpenChain Project has released three new official translations of the OpenChain Specification 1.1. These join our growing body of translated material designed to assist stakeholders from around the world engage with the OpenChain Project in their own language.
