NakodaX has announced an OpenChain ISO/IEC 5230:2020 and ISO/IEC 18974:2023 conformant program, covering both open source license compliance and open source security assurance.
NakodaX keeps sensitive work under the sender’s control after it has been shared. Deal documents, partner data, and software handed to clients stay locked to the people chosen to see them, and access can be ended at any time. It does this across three products: Document Protection, Data Protection, and Source Protection. Each can run in the cloud, on a customer’s own servers, or fully offline.
Customers who trust NakodaX with their most sensitive work expect the same care inside the product itself. Like most modern software, NakodaX is built partly on open source. Conformance to ISO/IEC 5230 and ISO/IEC 18974 means NakodaX knows exactly which open source components go into each release and the license obligations of each one. It also has a defined process for finding and fixing known vulnerabilities across the life of the product.
For NakodaX, license compliance and security assurance are part of the same promise: customers should never have to guess what is in the software they rely on. Questions about open source in NakodaX products can be sent to opensource@nakodax.com.
About NakodaX
NakodaX protects documents, data, and source code after they leave the company. Document Protection controls who opens a file and lets the sender revoke it at any time. Data Protection shares data with partners, with chosen columns and rows left out or sealed. Source Protection lets companies supply software to customers while NakodaX keeps the keys and licenses.
